NexiPanel: Managing Packages Print

In NexiPanel, packages are essential for allocating resources to individual websites. Before creating websites, it is necessary to create at least one package.

A default package is automatically generated upon installation, but customizing packages to match specific requirements is recommended. Packages ensure that each website receives the appropriate allocation of resources, enabling efficient management within NexiPanel.

Package Management allows you to:

• Create Package

• List Packages

• Delete Package

• Modify Package

Step 1: Create Package

1. Go to Packages -> Create Packages.

It essentially defines how many resources the site will use, even with FTP accounts.

2. Fill in the required fields with the specifications you want. Add the necessary limits:

   • Disk Space

   • Bandwidth

   • FTP Accounts

   • Database

   • Emails

   Additionally, in the Packages section, you can allow the creation of a fully qualified domain as child-domains or not.

Once the package is created, it can be used to create a site. To create the site under the created package, follow these steps.

Step 2: List Packages

1. All the created packages will be listed under Packages -> List Packages.

2. Here, you can edit and delete the package as well.

Step 3: Delete Package

1. If the package needs to be deleted, go to Packages -> Delete Package.

2. Select the package from the list and delete it.

Step 4: Modify Package

1. Modification in the resources is available because sometimes sites require additional resources to run.

2. Navigate to Packages -> Modify Package to make the necessary changes.
